We are made to be happy and desire a happiness that is eternal and that does not cease at death. We all desire this lasting happiness, for ourselves and for those we love, because we have a soul.

We are not satisfied with death, but have a natural, irrepressible desire for eternity. The soul is not made to disappear into the earth. There are objective reasons for arguing that our life ends at death which are open to debate and discussion. Other objections spring from inner reactions, hurts and fears varying from person to person.

We are not always conscious of them, but we can allow them to heal when they are brought to light.
